Missing Mitten

It is easy to see how the Benedictine abbey in the North Yorkshire town of Whitby helped to inspire Bram Stoker's Dracula. On a stormy day such as this one, its derelict arches dominate the landscape as it sits atop a large hill, overlooking the town below. This young child's mitten made for an interesting shot when juxtaposed with Whitby Abbey's haunting presence.
