Boards of Landguard

Landguard Fort sits on the coast of Felixstowe in Suffolk. Built and rebuilt many times over the last five centuries, the fort was used to launch hydrogen balloons towards Germany during the second world war.

The fort now lays derelict, but is maintained as a museum. Its underground tunnels and boardwalks speak much of its past and make it an excellent subject for some experimental urban decay photography.
